Video Journaling
Upon request, you and I set up fully disclosed video cameras in communal places in your home or company, to get right into moving your communication style and behavior to an entirely different level.
If it feels right to you, I can use a video camera or hand held recorder for ‘in the moment’ feedback on you, your family, or business’s communication style and behavioral patterns.
What is the Purpose of Video Journaling?
I love using video journaling for home visits because audio and/or video feedback gives us a clear and undeniable picture of how we really show up in our everyday lives.
Video journaling really speeds up the process of being able to see how we, or our loved ones, are really communicating and behaving. It is a quick and direct way to see if your day-to-day matches up with your heart and soul; thus, shortening the change process immensely.
Of course, video journaling would only be used upon your request, and much can still be accomplished if you choose not to use video journaling.
It’s also helpful for children, teenagers, parents, couples, and companies to record (with full disclosure to all involved) what is happening at home or work and bring it into the next session, so that we can quickly and deeply get to the bottom of things.
Sometimes recording oneself is a bit nerve wracking at first and often people will say, “I will be different in front of the camera.” However, I find that our patterns are so strong and often unconscious, that it usually takes about 10 minutes for people to be in full swing of their everyday way of interacting.
Then, we can review the footage together, or you can be the only viewer, and begin to make shifts in the dynamics of your, you and your partner’s, your children’s, your family’s, or your company’s thinking and communication.
For privacy and the comfort of all, all material is deleted in front of client by the end of that session that day.
