Letting Go
Letting go of pain, shame, anger, pride, mistakes, hurt, a loved one, a relationship, a behavior, a lifestyle, or an experience, can be difficult things to do in life.
We all have made choices that we regret, have suffered wrongdoing at the hands of others, or just simply but painfully experienced loss.
Far too often, we hold onto these things and let them unknowingly seep into our every day. This can bring us down, affecting our day to day feelings, experiences, behaviors, our health, relationships, work, and can also hurt others in the process. That's why learning to let go is so fundamentally important, no matter how deep the scars.
Learning to Let Go
Letting go is one of the great spiritual lessons that we all will likely have to learn and work through at some point during our lives.
The trouble with holding on to guilt, pain, old ways, wrong doings, or other wounds is that they have a way of holding us back from reaching our true potential in life. If you come to me for help in letting go of some things, together we will first discover what it is that is holding you back and then figure out the most natural way for you to finally let it go.
The goal of teaching you to let go is to free the way for our heart’s path. We often say, or even believe, that we have let go of something in our past and yet, somehow, the fears and wounds keep popping up and take hold time and time again.
True letting go usually involves a deep trust in something much more expansive than ourselves--whatever that is for you. To truly be able to let go, we have to find a much more satisfying safe place inside where we can rest in all things, the good and the bad.
Some people happen upon this in life and others may need a pit stop for the soul, where they can get some coaching to reconnect with whatever they need to connect with inside of themselves, in order to finally let go.
If you come to coaching to let go, I can assure you that in the process you will find a much deeper, satisfying part of yourself and life in the process--a place inside that you can rest in all things.
