Imperative Self-Analysis
I work from the premise that what we believe, or our belief systems, create our thoughts, which create our feelings, which create our behaviors.
Sometimes, if we don’t consciously know what our beliefs and thoughts are, it can be tough to change our emotions and our behaviors.
That's why, regardless of the coaching you're seeking, I almost always begin with a process called Imperative Self-Analysis.
What is Imperative Self-Analysis?
Imperative Self-Analysis is essentially an x-ray or blueprint of a person’s, family’s, or company’s belief system, personality, and behavior.
The process reviews the aspects of ourselves that we feel cannot change and examines the imperatives that make us feel like we HAVE to or MUST continue being the way we always have been, even when we don’t want to.
When we undergo ISA together, I actually write up a physical, visual blueprint of your unique grouping of core thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors in the sequence in which they happen in your mind, and how they control your daily life. I like to call this Imperative Self Mapping.
The Imperative Self Mapping is brilliant. Over the last 25 years, I have continued to research and study new methods of human change and still have found this to be one of the most important tools to changing one’s feelings, and actual behaviors and life.
I have done thousands of maps, and have never had two come out exactly the same. The mapping does not put any person into any category. On the contrary, the mapping is a very customized replica of your core beliefs, thoughts, feeling, and behaviors, and the order in which you execute them in your life.
After completing the mapping, I have a good grasp of how you would think, feel, and behave in most circumstances. From this map, I create with you, a new map and begin leading you out of what ‘doesn’t work’ into what does work in your life. Then, together we practice using your new map.
This is very exciting; because, a person who can differentiate and can see and feel the distinction between their old reactive ways, and their new, updated wiser self, is someone who is very resourceful, at choice, and has the ability to dream and the ability to carry out their dreams.
