What are Patterns and Why are They Important?

From an early age, we develop patterns as a response to our environment, that shape and effect the way we perceive and behave in our daily lives.

Patterns are coping styles that are composed of beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, that often form unconsciously to gain powerful payoffs like safety, health, love, peace, and connection to name a few.

However, as we grow older, the unconscious can continue believing that it will get those payoffs even if it never did or isn’t now; thus, leaving us to live with a pattern that is in control and well-intentioned, but a pattern whose actual outcome is not in alignment with our spirit’s true intention.

Patterns are often like old remnants that belong to a past time, person, and situation, but are not necessarily custom fit to our soul in our present day life!

Pattern Coaching

In my pattern coaching, we identify your patterns and discover which ones are important and which ones we can replace with something better and more beneficial for you.

Through my pattern coaching, you can learn to find the hidden patterns in yourself, both those that hold you back and those that move you forward. Sometimes we all need a little help from someone outside of ourselves to track and help us to transform these sometimes tricky hard to see patterns into productive ones that serve us well.

Part of being a great life coach is to be a great pattern detector or pattern sleuth, because patterns can run ripshod over a life.

Knowing how to do your own pattern work is tremendously helpful throughout your life. Once you learn it, you can use these tools for the rest of your life, to help yourself and others.

After working relentlessly, and compassionately with my very emotionally abusive husband, you kicked him out of the house for me during a session. You did what I could not find the courage at the time to do. You changed my life and you changed his. We are doing so well now—we love you.
